SUPER MONDAY – LSI WINS TWO MAJOR SUBCONTRACTS

LSI received notice on Monday that we have won both the Navy’s E-2D training contract as a principal subcontractor to Rockwell Collins, AND the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC) Training Products and Services contract as a principal subcontractor to General Dynamics Information Technology.

LSI will support Rockwell Collins Corporation on the much sought after E-2D contract which will include the development of flight crew training devices and computer-based training for the Navy’s new version of the carrier based E-2D advanced Hawkeye Airborne Early Warning aircraft which is currently being produced in St. Augustine. LSI will specifically develop the CBT/WBT and an electronic classrooms and learning centers for the Navy’s new Hawkeye. The original competitive field of five major prime contractors was reduced to only two earlier this year and the final selection of the Rockwell Collins team was announced on Monday. Work for the E-2D contract will be performed in our facilities in Jacksonville, Fla. and will continue through 2014. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity through the TSC II contract vehicle. Don Littlefield and Dan Ratliff were the leads for our proposal efforts on the E-2D program.

The NETPDTC Training products and services contract is a five-year, multiple award, indefinite delivery – indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract through which we will provide training products for all of the Naval Education and Training commands coordinated through Pensacola, Florida and Millington, Tennessee. This contract is for the development of Navy ILE and SCORM conformant courseware for numerous commands that train military personnel in many locations throughout the nation. LSI’s work for the Navy Training Products and Services contract will also be performed in Jacksonville at our Cecil Field Training Center. This contract was competitively procured through the NETPDTC headquarters in Pensacola Florida. Dan Clish was our capture lead for the NETPDTC proposal effort.

Both of these wins are significant for our company long term success and continued support of Naval Aviation and maintenance programs. We can all be very proud of our capture of these wins!
