As the incumbent on this program for over 16 years, LSI provides Revision and Maintenance (R&M) for curriculum and courseware for both the P‑3 FRS and the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Weapon School (MPRWS). Patrol Squadron Thirty (VP‑30) is responsible for the fleet training of eight specific aircrew positions represented by 28 distinct training tracks through the employment of over 3000 separate courses and almost 4500 hours of instruction developed with multiple authoring tools. This P-3 FRS R&M project also includes support for the Reserve Squadron Augment Unit (SAU), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and the Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) Test Support within the FRS. Over 600 students graduate each year from the VP‑30 curriculum to enter the fleet. LSI has also designed, installed, and maintains the VP‑30 Learning Center, FMS Learning Center, and electronic classroom networks which include workstations, file servers, and peripheral equipment.
LSI has also provided Training Center Support to the United States Army at our own facilities at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida. During a one-year period, we supported and trained over 300 soldiers in support of the 128th AVN Brigade at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia in support of the AH-64D Apache 15R MOS transition course.
